Parkland residents have enjoyed the city’s 2018 summer installment events, including June’s “Glow in the Park”, “Pop Up Party”, as well as an open mic night. So far July has presented the ever-successful “Parkchella”, which only served as another way to keep the community connected.
The fun continues with a second installment of “Movies in the Gym”, bringing a double-feature “Wall-E” and “Transformers”.
The City of Parkland looks forward to the second “Movies in the Gym” event this summer said Parkland City Spokesperson Todd De Angelis. “Each of the events in our summer series are meant to provide a sense of community, support, and togetherness.”
Admission is free and includes free popcorn. Residents can bring chairs, blankets, pillows, and other items that will make the viewing experience more comfortable for them on the gymnasium floor.
Come on out on Friday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m. for the viewing of “Wall-E, rated G, to see the adventures of the last robot on Earth. Stick around at 7:00 p.m. for “Transformers”, rated PG-13, to see the heroic Autobots and the evil Deceptions come to Earth. It’s a family night you won’t want to miss.
Parkland’s PREC is located at 10555 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33076.
