Parkland residents searching for good coffee and community-building conversation are invited to chat up law enforcement at the next Coffee with a Cop event.
This month’s ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event featuring Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Parkland District members takes place at the Carmela Coffee Company on Thursday, October 12, at 8:30 a.m.
‘Coffee and a Cop’ is an event organized by local law enforcement as an opportunity for the community to meet and greet the men in uniform who keep the community safe.
The event also promises to bring deputies and residents together on a social and personal level, strengthening ties, enhancing community engagement, and building partnerships that help keep Parkland safe.
Carmela Coffee Company is located at 7967 N University Drive in Parkland.
