The Humane Society of Broward County has two loving animals on the lookout for their forever homes.
Bolt
Handsome Bolt, a three-year-old German shepherd mix, has a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Weighing in at 58 pounds, Bolt is a tad on the lean side and would benefit from a warm home with a little extra kibble to fill out his frame.
Previously in a home for six months, Bolt is in need of a new family due to the unfounded fears of visiting grandkids, despite his affection for children. His house training and joyful zoomies make him an ideal companion for active families.
While Bolt’s rapport with cats remains a mystery, a friendly meet and greet can be arranged for homes with existing canine members.
Muffin
Muffin, a conversational and cuddly cat, finds himself seeking new companionship following the loss of his owner.
This very affectionate feline craves human touch and would be most content curled up on a bed, offering and receiving love. Muffin has shown to be a friend to other cats and even to the more unusual housemates like bunnies, suggesting a big heart ready to embrace a mixed pet household.
For those interested in meeting either Bolt (ID 674117), Muffin (ID A673514), or any other pets in need, the Humane Society encourages potential adopters to complete a pre-adoption application on their website at www.humanebroward.com.
The adoption kennels welcome visitors daily from 11:00 a.m. at their facility located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Any questions can be directed to their dedicated staff at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
