The weather has been a tricky opponent so far for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas football team.
After having their game against Cooper City postponed on Aug. 29, the make-up game on Monday was called with three minutes left in the first quarter.
The game was tied at seven after Jonah Lennamon opened the scoring with a rushing touchdown and will be rescheduled for September 30 at 6 p.m.
The Eagles remain 0-2 in the season and will be back in action on Friday, August 20, against Boyd H. Anderson High School. The Cobras are 1-3 this year, with their lone win against Fort Lauderdale High School. MSD, though, shut them out 33-0 in their only meeting last year.
