The awards continue to pile up for former Marjory Stoneman Douglas star Coby Mayo following another terrific season.
In a year when Mayo made his MLB debut, he was named Brooks Robinson Minor League Player of the Year, and he was also the Baltimore Orioles Top prospect, along with teammate Brandon Young.
Mayo hit .293 in Triple-A with 25 home runs and 73 RBIs. He was called up to the big leagues at the end of the summer and recorded his first big league hit against DJ. Herz.
Heading into the 2025 season, Mayo will be a contender to open the season as the Orioles starting third basemen as Baltimore.
