The City of Parkland has organized an event centered around raising autism awareness.
On Saturday, April 13, the city invites the community to the Pine Trails Park Amphitheatre for a day dedicated to inclusion and awareness during Autism Awareness and Acceptance Day.
Happening between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., attendees can expect to enjoy entertaining activities and educational resources aimed at raising autism awareness.
Vendors include Jamie The Tutor, Sunset Strings Academy, Parkland Buddy Sports, Foundations Therapy Inc., Center for Autism and Related Dis., Love Serving Autism, Boca School of Autism, Just for Kids Therapy, Broward County Parks and Recreation Special Populations, and Broward Health.
The free-to-attend event will also feature music, art, and various hands-on activities such as games, crafts, and face painting. A petting zoo will also be open for children of all ages.
