Broward Health North caregivers and staff received 60 pizzas from a couple of good Samaritans on Wednesday. They wanted to show their appreciation for the team’s dedication to caring for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Brian and Michelle Rebhun of Boca Raton donated 60 pizzas to the hospital from Pizza Time Caffe of Parkland. So far, the couple has donated to 13 hospitals with more on the way.
Michelle, who graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas, said their mission is to support small businesses while while lifting morale in hospitals.
In a note, they wrote to caregivers: “We stand with you during this trying time! Thank you for all that you are doing to make us stronger as a community. Thank you for your bravery, courage, and selflessness to be there for all of us.”
