Parkland Parent Launches CoachCore to Put Player Development First

A Parkland parent and youth sports coach is hoping to make life easier for volunteer coaches while helping shift the focus of youth sports back to player development.

After spending years coaching his own children’s teams, Paul Grossman created CoachCore, an online platform designed to help volunteer parent-coaches build organized, effective practice plans in minutes. The idea came from a challenge familiar to many parents who step up to coach.

“Anyone who’s volunteered to coach their kid’s team knows the feeling,” Grossman said. “You sign up to help, and suddenly you’re expected to run practices like you’ve been doing it for twenty years.”Our youth sports community has become so focused on the wins and losses that we’ve lost track of player development,” Grossman said. “CoachCore is here to help with that — to make sure each practice is meaningful for the players and stress-free for the coach.”

CoachCore was built to eliminate that uncertainty by providing structured practice plans, organizational tools and season-long resources that help coaches run productive, engaging practices with confidence.
