Parkland resident Radhika Nanavati has capped off her high school career with a series of prestigious academic achievements, including being named valedictorian of the North Broward Preparatory School Class of 2026.
Nanavati earned the distinction after maintaining the highest grade point average in her class throughout all four years of high school.
In addition to being named valedictorian, Radhika received an honorable mention at the 68th Annual Silver Knight Awards presented by The Miami Herald. The program recognizes outstanding high school seniors across South Florida for their achievements in academics, leadership and community service.
She was also selected as a recipient of the 2026 Florida International Baccalaureate Award, which honors students who demonstrate exceptional performance in the rigorous International Baccalaureate program.
Radhika’s academic journey began in Broward County Public Schools. She attended Riverglades Elementary School and later Westglades Middle School, where she built the foundation that helped lead to her success at North Broward Preparatory School.
Her parents Neepa and Kunal live in Pine Tree Estates in Parkland.
This fall, Radhika will attend Duke University as a member of the Class of 2030. She plans to continue pursuing academic and personal growth while joining the university’s Blue Devil community.
