Jake Clemente. {Jake Stepehns}
Former two-time Marjory Stoneman Douglas State Champion pitched in the biggest college baseball game of his young career.
Pitching in Game 7 of the Regionals, Clemente recorded the first ten outs in the game in the Gators. He allowed one run in only his second start of the season to knock off Oklahoma State, the 11th-ranked team in the country.
The 2022 graduate from MSD made one appearance earlier in the postseason and has pitched in 15 games after recovering from a shoulder injury last year.
Clemente is 2-0 this year and was 10-0 during his senior season with MSD, recording a 1.10 era. The Gators will now travel to Clemson to play in the Super Regionals.
