Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate Matt Ossenfort continued right where he left off with the varsity baseball team, winning 2023 Cal Ripken Sr. League Most Outstanding Hitter.
Ossenfort played for the Alexandria Aces this summer and slashed 376/.480/.693, with eight home runs and 35 RBIs. His eight home runs and 1.173 OPS led the league after helping MSD win their third straight State and National Championship in the spring. Ossenfort, signed to play at Vanderbilt University, hit ten home runs and drove in 35 RBIs with the Eagles to lead them to their undefeated season.
