The 7th Annual Tennis Fundraiser hosted by Make Our Schools Safe raised an impressive $70,000 to support critical school safety initiatives.
The event brought the community together for a day of tennis matches, raffles, shopping, and lunch, all of which aimed to foster safer schools for students and staff.
The funds raised will benefit several local schools. Coral Springs High School received $24,500 to build a School Security Hut and purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and Stop the Bleed kits, enhancing its emergency preparedness.
Tamarac Elementary School was awarded $23,000 to construct a School Security Hut, enhancing its safety measures.

Founder and President Lori Alhadeff expressed her gratitude. “The support from our community has been extraordinary. These contributions will make a tangible difference in the safety and well-being of our schools. Together, we are empowering schools with the tools and resources they need to protect our children.”
