Anthony Avello has been re-elected without opposition to Seat 3 on the North Springs Improvement District Board of Supervisors, securing another term representing the district’s residents and stakeholders.
Avello, who lives in Grand Cypress Estates, represents Seat 3. He said he is grateful for the community’s continued support and views the uncontested election as a sign of confidence in the board’s leadership.
“I am deeply honored and grateful for the continued support of our community,” Avello said. “Being re-elected unopposed is a tremendous vote of confidence, and I remain committed to providing responsible leadership, fiscal accountability, and exceptional service to every resident of the North Springs Improvement District.“
According to the district, Avello has focused on financial management while helping maintain water and utility services at competitive rates. The district said it has received recognition for water quality, financial reporting and operational performance while continuing to invest in infrastructure improvements and the preservation of the North Springs Preserve.
A retired police officer with 27 years of public service, Avello has also served for more than a decade as vice chair of the Parkland Planning and Zoning Board. He said his priorities include transparency, accountability and long-term planning.
“As we look to the future, I will continue working alongside my fellow Board members, our outstanding staff, and our residents to protect our natural resources, maintain the highest standards of service, and ensure NSID remains a model of excellence,” Avello said.
Avello also thanked residents, district staff and community partners for their continued support and said he looks forward to serving another term on the board.
