
Michael Ossenfort. {954 Preps}
Michael Ossenfort played at an All-American level as a freshman and earned a spot on the Illinois State baseball team.
Ossenfort immediately made an impact at Carthage, starting all 35 games during his freshman season. He hit .433 while driving in 46 runs and scoring 46 times. He also drew 22 walks and showcased his defensive ability with a .968 fielding percentage.
His outstanding season earned him several postseason honors, including College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Student-Athlete of the Year and D3baseball.com Region 8 Rookie of the Year. Ossenfort also received NCAA Division III Region VIII First Team All-Region and D3baseball.com All-Region 8 First Team recognition.
During his time at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Ossenfort helped the Eagles win two State Championships and one National Title. The 2025 graduate batted .365 during his high school career while adding two home runs and 17 RBIs.
