Basser’s Fine Wine announces the return of its third annual Food and Wine Festival, set for Sunday, October 29, 2023.
This year’s festivities take place in the Grand Ballroom of the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center, located near Heron Bay.
Held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., guests can indulge in an unparalleled tasting experience, showcasing over 170 wines and delicacies from 15 of Coral Springs’ local restaurants.
Glenn Basser, who co-owns Basser’s Fine Wine with his wife, Emily, emphasizes their commitment to evading the typical challenges of global wine festivals — such as overcrowding, inflated pricing, and inconsistent wine offerings.
“We’ve taken measures to ensure our festival stands out in the best ways,” Glenn said.
Keeping the attendee experience at the forefront, the event caps the number of guests at 600, guaranteeing meaningful interactions with vendors. A ticket price of $100 promises attendees a complimentary wine glass, access to 30 wine and 15 food stations, special discounts on wine, and live entertainment.
“Our aim is to offer an unforgettable experience without a hefty price tag,” said Glenn.
To ensure unparalleled quality, the festival prides itself on its curated wine selection, handpicked from Basser’s daily inventory. This year, wine aficionados can look forward to tastings from renowned wineries like Caymus, Cakebread, Frank Family, Cliff Lede, M By Mondavi, and Honig, among others.
