Residents are invited to a book presentation from the journalism and broadcasting teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas who edited the student compilation We Say #Never Again.
After the tragic February day in Parkland, journalism teacher Melissa Falkowski and broadcasting teacher Eric Garner knew that the voices of their students needed to be heard. We Say #Never Again is that story – written by the students and creators of the school newspaper, The Eagle Eye and the staff at WMSD-TV.
Held on Wednesday, December 19 from 6:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m. at the Parkland Library 6620 University Drive Parkland, FL 33067, registration required. To register visit www.cityofparkland.org/library.
