{The Friendship Circle of North Broward and South Palm Beach}
The Friendship Circle of North Broward and South Palm Beach will launch its new volunteer year with a Teen Kickoff event Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Chabad of Parkland.
Beginning at 6 p.m., the event will introduce teenagers to Friendship Circle’s programs and the ways they can support individuals in the community while forming meaningful friendships.
Teen volunteers can earn community service hours by participating in the organization’s programs throughout the year. The kickoff will also feature team-building activities and a burger bar.
Friendship Circle connects teen volunteers with children and young adults with special needs through social and recreational programs designed to promote friendship, inclusion and community involvement.
Teens interested in attending can register through the organization’s new online portal at teenportal.base44.app.
Chabad of Parkland is located at 7170 Loxahatchee Rd.
