Young athletes in Parkland can kick off the new year by honing their football skills and learning from the best at Chris Chambers’ GameFace Winter Flag Football Camp for girls.
Chambers, a Parkland resident, was a wide receiver for ten seasons in the NFL. The Miami Dolphins selected him in the second round of the 2001 draft. He also played for the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.
After his playing career, Chambers served in 2021 as the first-ever University of Fort Lauderdale head football coach.
This event, held at Pine Trails Park, runs from Monday, December 30, through Friday, January 3, 2024. It is open exclusively to girls aged 6 to 14.
The camp emphasizes mentorship, competition, fundamentals, speed, agility, and combined testing—key components for budding athletes looking to develop their skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
