The City of Parkland has released the first clue from its interactive Clues in the Park competition.
The scavenger hunt invites residents to explore the city’s parks while solving a series of clues to win prizes.
Clues in the Park participants must answer three questions correctly to qualify for the raffle.
The first question was released on July 16:
“To find the time capsule hear as I say, you need to go outside and play. Visit the playground at Pine Trails Park to find the first question that will help make your mark.”
A new question will be posted on the city’s website each week. Subsequent questions will be released on July 23 and July 30. All clues and questions will remain posted for the event, allowing new participants to join anytime.
Participants must visit three designated parks weekly to collect clues and find the answers and submit their answers via email to cluesinthepark@cityofparkland.org by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31.
All three answers should be sent together in one email. Correct answers will be entered into a raffle, with the drawing set for Thursday, August 1. The lucky winner will receive an email notification from the Clues in the Park team.
