This is a summary of crimes and other Parkland incidents through July 15, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents.
Death Investigation
A victim of Death Investigation was reported on 07/09/2024. The reporting person advised the deceased was found on the back patio of the residence, slumped in a chair, and not breathing.
Property Damage
A victim of Property Damage was reported on 07/10/2024. A delivery truck backed into the fence, damaging the keypad. It appeared the driver did not realize the impact had occurred.
A victim of Property Damage was reported on 07/10/2024. A 2023 Genesis GV80 had a large scrape/scratch on it while parked in the parking lot.
Trespassing
A victim of Trespassing was reported on 07/11/2024. An adult female reported that her ex-boyfriend has been showing up at her residence and other places that she goes. The ex-boyfriend jumped the fence around her residence, removed the screen from the garage window, and entered the residence through the window.
All Other
A victim of – All Other was reported on 07/12/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,000. The victim advised that he left his iPhone under the bleachers at the southeast soccer field.
Information
Information was reported on 07/13/2024. Caller advised that several juveniles on a golf cart drove past her open garage last night with a water gun & shot a water pod into it.
Arrests
No arrests were reported.
