Congregation Kol Tikvah is inviting families from across Parkland and surrounding communities to celebrate Purim at its Annual Purim Carnival and Parade of Costumes on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
The festive event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Congregation Kol Tikvah, 6750 University Drive, and is open to congregants and community members.
With this year’s theme, “There’s No Place Like Home,” the carnival promises a lively afternoon filled with games, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
According to Kol Tikvah, attendees can expect carnival games, bounce houses, a game truck, food trucks, and more. A highlight of the day will be the Parade of Costumes, where children and families are encouraged to dress up and show off their most creative Purim outfits.
Purim, a joyful Jewish holiday that commemorates the story of Queen Esther and the saving of the Jewish people, is traditionally celebrated with costumes, festive gatherings, and acts of giving.
Admission is $18 per child for members and $25 per child for non-members.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through the synagogue’s website at koltikvah.net.
