With sets played to eight games, Dylainey Risavy and Haileigh Fountain led the way at No. 1 singles with an 8–2 victory, while Claire Schwartz and Caroline Oliviera delivered an impressive 8–0 win. In additional singles play, Dhea Bagirathan, Sarah Kumar, Zara Risavy, Allison Kehler, and Dylanney Risky each recorded victories to complete the sweep for the Eagles.
The boys’ team secured two wins on the day, coming at No. 4 and No. 5 singles. Joey Gately earned an 8–2 victory, followed by Diego Perero with an 8–3 win. Hermann Stelling and Michael Moosa competed in both singles and doubles action, teaming with Jeremy Winnick and Perero in doubles play.
The Eagles are coming off a season highlighted by a state championship from senior Savita Bagirathan, who has since begun her collegiate career at Sacred Heart University. After dropping her first two matches, Bagirathan earned her first collegiate singles victory with a 6–3, 6–4 win over Alexis Estrada of Wagner University. She followed that performance with a dominant 6–0, 6–1 victory against Lilah Shalcross of Stonehill University.
Bagirathan has also found success in doubles play, posting a 2–0 record this season. She teamed with Olivia Zuba for a 6–4 win against Army and later paired with Brooke Tuffs to earn a 7–6 (4) victory over Rhode Island.
