Nicolas and Fanny, a French couple who moved to Boca Raton in 2016, have become a fixture in the community thanks to their unique toy store, My Bulle Toys.
The couple’s passion for education and love of French culture inspired them to open a store specializing in French educational toys and supplies.
Fanny, a French teacher in a private bilingual school in Boca Raton, was inspired to start the store after her children, Erika and Liam, fell in love with French educational toys while living in Paris.
Upon moving to the US, Fanny was disappointed that these types of toys were not readily available in the American market. She saw a need and decided to bring these toys to the US, starting with a small selection from her trips to Paris.

After seeing the enthusiastic response from friends and the parents of her students, Fanny and Nicolas decided to open My Bulle Toys in 2019. The store has since become a popular destination for families looking to incorporate French education into their children’s lives.
In addition to offering a wide range of French educational toys and books, My Bulle Toys hosts art classes in French and English at the store and a French club for kids. Fanny and Nicolas also try to connect with their customers and view them as part of their extended family.
“We consider our customers part of our family, and we know many of them personally now, and many of them are returning customers, both English speakers or French speakers,” said Fanny.
The couple’s love for their job and passion for helping children learn has made My Bulle Toys a beloved institution in the Boca Raton community. Their mission is simple: to help children love learning the French language.
“Whether this is your child’s first exposure to French or a continuation of their love for their mother tongue, we strive to offer the most enchanting toys and books available to support your child’s natural love of learning,” said Fanny.
My Bulle Toys has an online store and a physical location in Boca Raton, where customers can browse their wide selection of French educational toys and supplies. The couple also plans to continue their road trips across the US, discovering new and exciting toys to bring back to their store.
