The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is set to come alive with music, laughter, and a whole lot of girl power when Girls Night: The Musical takes the stage on Saturday, June 7, at 8 p.m.
Praised as “Desperate Housewives meets Mamma Mia,” the high-energy show has captivated audiences nationwide since its Off-Broadway debut. The musical follows five friends on a raucous night out as they reminisce about their youth, celebrate their present, and embrace the future, delivering plenty of laughs, tears, and heartfelt moments along the way.
The production features an electrifying soundtrack filled with iconic anthems including “Lady Marmalade,” “It’s Raining Men,” “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” and “I Will Survive.” Hailed by The Advocate as “as funny and outrageous as Sex and the City,” the show offers a nostalgic celebration of friendship and female empowerment that will have audience members dancing in the aisles.
Emma Kate, a Chicago-based actor and cast member, says audiences will not only laugh and sing along but also see themselves on stage.
“Audiences will love Girls Night: The Musical because it is an evening full of singing, dancing, and laughing,” she said. “They’ll recognize themselves in these characters or see how their friend group fits into them. We love hearing people say, ‘I’m such a Liza’ or ‘My bestie is totally the Carol of the friend group!’”

Emma Kate has been part of the production for a year and a half and brings a dynamic versatility to the cast—she performs four of the five main roles.
“One of the cool things about Girls Night is that many cast members know multiple roles,” she said. “I know and play Sharon, Anita, Liza, and Kate.”
Outside the production, Emma Kate shares her passion for performance by teaching theater to children in Chicago, ages 3 to 13. She says she was “bitten by the performance bug” at age eight and has never looked back.
Tickets for Girls Night: The Musical start at $53.15 and are available now at TheCenterCS.com.
