St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Boca Raton will host a Holiday Gala and Private Concert on Saturday, December 7, starting at 5 p.m.
The event features a live performance by world-renowned jazz trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, a gourmet three-course dinner, and both silent and live auctions. Proceeds will support the church’s outreach and ministry programs.
Gordon, a celebrated musician, composer, and arranger, is known for his work with the Wynton Marsalis Septet and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. His accomplishments include composing the theme for NPR’s “All Things Considered” and performing with musical legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Paul Simon, and Natalie Merchant.
Tickets for the gala are $150 per person, with sponsorship opportunities available. Attendees will also have the chance to hear from Tim Brumfield, St. Gregory’s Director of Music Ministries, who will share insights into the church’s music program.
