Families across Broward and Palm Beach counties are invited to lace up their sneakers and join a morning dedicated to friendship, inclusion, and community spirit as the annual I Walk 4 Friendship returns on Sunday, March 22.
Hosted by Friendship Circle of North Broward & South Palm Beach, the free event brings together individuals with special needs, families, volunteers, and community members to celebrate connection and create meaningful friendships.
The walk will be held at Trails End, 10555 Trails End, in Parkland. Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a welcome program and community walk from 10 to 11 a.m.
Following the walk, families can enjoy a variety of activities during the Family Fun portion of the event, which begins at 11 a.m. Attractions include a climbing wall, live shows, music, sign decorating, a sensory station, laser tag, and other interactive activities. A kosher barbecue will also be available, and Friendship Circle T-shirts will be available for purchase during the event.
Participation is free and open to the community, though attendees are encouraged to register or make donations in advance to support Friendship Circle’s programs at iwalk4friendship.org.
