In Jacob’s Shoes is holding its 14th annual “Every Sole Counts” dinner and auction to benefit less fortunate children.
The Boca West Country Club will host the event on Thursday, October 24, beginning at 5:30 p.m. It will include cocktails, dinner, live and silent auctions, and raffles benefiting needy children.
This year’s event will honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their community. Special recognition will be given to several honorees for their exceptional commitment to improving the lives of those around them.
The event will feature cocktails and dinner, an exciting live auction hosted by Saffer & Company, a fabulous silent auction, and raffles. Singer Bianca Rosario and The Smooth Operators will provide entertainment.
Premier awards and honors for 2024 include the Lifetime Achievement Award, Community Leadership Award, and Excellence in Service Award, which recognizes those impacted through their dedication and service.
Distinguished honorees at the event include Michele Poole and Karen Vaughan, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award; Adam and Kyley Rossen, recipients of the Community Leadership Award; and Nat and Nancy Nussbaum, who will be honored with the Excellence in Service Award.
Tickets to the event are $225, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to In Jacob’s Shoes, a nonprofit organization formed in loving memory of Jacob S. Zweig, who tragically lost his life at the age of 17 but left behind a legacy of inspiration through his volunteer work.
Since its inception in 2009, In Jacob’s Shoes has significantly impacted the South Florida community by providing over 192,000 pairs of shoes and over 10,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to children and families in need.
The organization’s mission is rooted in the belief that something as simple as the right pair of shoes can change a child’s life.
