The Marjory Stoneman Douglas football team’s home opener on Thursday against Cooper City was postponed and is rescheduled for September 16.
The Eagles lost their season’s opening game at Cypress Bay High School and will play Deerfield Beach High School on Friday, September 6, at 7 p.m.
The Tigers are 0-2 this season following losses to Piper and Monarch High School. They will play the Eagles for the first time since 2021 when Deerfield Beach won 29-2.
