Marjory Stoneman Douglas Girls Golf Places 3rd at Regionals: Lieberman Places 8th for Boys

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas girls golf team placed third at Regionals on Monday at Osprey Pointe Golf Course.

Sutton Oosterhuis led the way for the Eagles, placing fifth with a 75. Andiara Raton had the next-best score of 83 and finished 18th, one shot ahead of Sophia Alcala Marks. Ella Thompson also competed and came in 23rd. Josh Lieberman was the lone player to compete for the boys team and finished in eighth with a 77.

Next, the girls team will compete at the State Championship on November 11-12 at Mission Inn in Howey-in-the-Hills.
