The Original Florida Pokers will launch a new youth baseball Development series for Parkland residents on August 26.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Head Coach and four-time National Coach of the Year, Todd Fitz-Gerald, and his staff will run the series, focusing on individual skill development through elite travel ball-style practices.
“We felt like we could raise the level of talent by developing kids before they even get into baseball,” Original Florida Poker’s owner Lenny Roberts said. “We believe that Todd, myself, and all our partners can develop a better foundation for these kids.”
This will be open to kids ages 7-12 and run through December for current travel players, little league players, and kids with no experience.
The series’ monthly fee is $175, or a one-time payment of $650 for four months. It will be held in Parkland on Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration can be done here.
