A bicyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a vehicle in Parkland Monday, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department first responders rushed to the scene following a 12:19 p.m. call reporting a crash with injuries near Nob Hill Road and Trails End, near an entrance to Heron Bay.
Investigators at the scene learned the crash involved a vehicle and an adult female bicyclist who suffered serious injuries, according to BSO.
Mike Moser, deputy chief of the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department, said the bicyclist was flown to Broward Health North for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, according to BSO. The agency’s investigation of the crash is ongoing.
