The Parkland Basketball Club has officially opened registration for its Winter 2026 season, welcoming players of all skill levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Registration is now available at parklandbasketball.com and runs through October 31. Anyone who signs up before November 1 is guaranteed a spot in the league. After that date, late fees apply, and players may be placed on a waitlist depending on availability.
The league, open to both Parkland residents and non-residents, organizes teams by grade level rather than birthdate. Boys’ and girls’ divisions are offered, while kindergarten players compete in a co-ed division.
Evaluations are planned for Monday and Tuesday after Thanksgiving, followed by team drafts that same week. Practices will continue until winter break, with games starting shortly after school resumes in January. Most games will take place at Pine Trails Park, with some scheduled at Terramar Park.
The season follows the Broward County School Calendar, pausing during spring break. Playoffs and championship games are expected to wrap up in early to mid-April, culminating in a year-end picnic and All-Star Game.
The club also encourages parents and community members to get involved as volunteer coaches. Those interested can sign up on the website.
