The Parkland Chamber of Commerce will kick off the new year with its January Monthly Breakfast on Wednesday, Jan. 14, featuring a presentation focused on the power of personal storytelling.
The event will be held at Aston Gardens, located at 5999 N. University Drive in Parkland. Networking and a breakfast buffet will take place from 8 to 8:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Guest presenter and sponsor Renea Peterson, a speaker and consultant, will lead a discussion titled “Learn how to tell your personal story to make a bigger impact,” offering attendees insight into how storytelling can strengthen professional connections and influence.
The program will also include a City of Parkland update from City Manager Nancy Morando, along with information on City of Parkland scholarship opportunities presented by Jackie Wehmeyer.
The monthly breakfast is open to chamber members and guests interested in networking with local business and community leaders.
