April 8, 2025
A school bus sustained minor damage when a security gate came down on it at the Parkland Golf and Country Club. No injuries were reported.

A resident discovered her safe broken open in the backyard around 7 a.m. at her home in Parkland. Jewelry and money totaling approximately $22,000 were missing. There were no signs of forced entry, and the home may have been left unlocked.

Deputies responded to a verbal dispute between two adult females. The disagreement was non-physical and related to a recent breakup. No crime occurred.
