Information Reports
April 1, Parkland: Deputies responded after an adult female allegedly made threats to visit a residence. She was later located by Pompano Beach deputies, and Baker Acted.
April 2, Parkland: A road-rage incident involving horn honking, cursing, and alleged threats. No weapons were involved.
April 2, Parkland: A woman reported her son refused to attend school, leading to a verbal altercation when she tried to take away his phone. No threats or violence occurred.
April 2–3, Parkland: A resident complained of reckless driving in their neighborhood. Surveillance footage showed a vehicle screeching tires near a cul-de-sac.
April 4, Parkland: A student was reportedly bitten on the thumb by a mouse. Fire rescue responded.
April 4, Parkland: A resident reported their neighbor urinating in his own backyard. No genitalia was seen, and the neighbor was advised not to repeat the behavior.
April 5, Parkland: A resident observed an open front door and window screen removed at a neighbor’s house. Deputies investigated, but no burglary had occurred.
April 5, Parkland: A woman contacted deputies regarding suicidal texts from her father-in-law. An investigation determined the messages were misinterpreted and non-threatening.
April 6, Covered Bridge and 6 Acre Park: A cyclist observed someone carrying what appeared to be a sword handle. Deputies canvassed the area with negative results.
April 6, Pine Trails Park: A suspicious Dodge Durango reportedly activated its headlights on and off for 45 minutes, then cut off another vehicle. A tag was obtained and traced to a male in Boca Raton.
Battery
April 1, Parkland: A woman reported a domestic battery involving her husband. He allegedly grabbed her shirt collar, spat on her, and threw her to the ground. The man was arrested and taken to the BSO Main Jail.
April 3, Parkland: Xia Li was the victim of a domestic battery incident involving her juvenile daughter. No injuries were reported.
April 4, Parkland: Roosevelt Jackson reported being struck by thrown tree nut shells during an altercation with six juveniles at a local park.
Property Crimes
March 29–April 1, Meadow Run (10101 NW 62nd St): A basketball hoop rim was broken after juveniles were seen hanging on it. A $600 settlement was reached between the parties.
April 3, Parkland Commons Plaza: A work truck’s window was smashed, and $3,500 in cash was stolen. The victim had withdrawn the cash earlier from a nearby bank. Surveillance footage and dashcam video captured the suspect.
Mental Health-Related
April 2, Parkland: A juvenile male was Baker Acted after expressing suicidal thoughts via Snapchat.
Arrests
April 1, Parkland: An adult male was arrested following a domestic battery incident.
April 6, Parkland: Robert Misevski, 52, was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing on property not structured for residence or transport.
