The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Parkland responded to various incidents between June 2 and June 8, 2026.
Incidents
June 2 – Lost Property
A lost property report was filed at Park Trails Elementary School, 10700 Trails End, after an item was reported missing from an incident that occurred May 2.
June 2 – Former Friends in Ongoing Dispute
Deputies documented an information report involving two former friends whose relationship ended after a failed investment opportunity more than eight years ago. The reporting party said the other individual continues to send annual text messages when visiting from Oregon.
June 3 – Fence Dispute Between Neighbors
Code enforcement responded to a property line disagreement involving a new fence. Both parties were advised that construction must remain within their own property boundaries.
June 3 – Fortify Tip Investigated
An information report was completed at Westglades Middle School regarding a Fortify tip involving three juvenile males.
June 3 – Domestic Dispute Determined Non-Criminal
Deputies investigated a domestic disturbance after two individuals spoke on a roadway. The investigation determined no crime had occurred.
June 3 – Juveniles Recover Stolen Soccer Balls
Two juveniles were accused of taking soccer balls from Pine Trails Park before fleeing. The victim recovered the property and declined to pursue charges.
June 3 – House Party Shut Down
Deputies responding to a complaint about a loud party discovered an end-of-school-year gathering that exceeded acceptable noise levels. The homeowner agreed to end the event, and an estimated 500 juveniles were escorted from the property.
June 4 – Vandals Damage Nursery Door
Four juvenile males were seen running from BG Katz Nurseries on Loxahatchee Road after an employee heard a loud bang. The business sustained damage to an interior door frame.
June 5 – Vehicle Fire at Terramar Park
Fire Rescue extinguished a vehicle fire at Terramar Park. A fire investigator determined there were no suspicious circumstances, and the vehicle was towed.
June 5 – Landscaping Dispute Ruled Civil Matter
Deputies responded to a delayed theft report involving plants allegedly removed from a property. The incident was determined to be a civil dispute over landscaping and property lines.
June 5 – Deputy Escorts Injured Child to Hospital
During a traffic stop, a driver explained he was speeding because his son had suffered a severe leg injury. After observing the child’s condition, a deputy escorted the family to Broward Health Coral Springs.
June 5 – Gatehouse Argument Ends Peacefully
A resident and a security officer became involved in a verbal dispute over entry procedures at a gated community. The incident was non-physical, and deputies determined no crime had occurred.
June 6 – OneWheel Rider Damages Vehicle
A juvenile riding a OneWheel accidentally struck a parked vehicle, causing a dent and breaking a taillight. Deputies determined there was no criminal intent and provided the parties with case information.
June 6 – Domestic Disturbance Reported
Deputies documented a domestic disturbance that was determined to be non-criminal.
June 6 – Doorbell Ditching Complaint
A resident reported that a juvenile rang the home’s doorbell and ran away three times. Deputies determined no crime had occurred after speaking with the homeowner where the juvenile was believed to have gone.
June 8 – Teen Arrested After Domestic Altercation
A 17-year-old girl was arrested after deputies determined she was the primary aggressor in a domestic altercation with her father. Both parties suffered minor injuries, and the juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Facility.
June 8 – Threatening Text Investigated
A mother reported that her 12-year-old daughter received a threatening text message from another student at Westglades Middle School. School resource deputies were contacted to assist with the investigation.
Arrests
- Rendel Henry, 35, was arrested June 4 on a charge of felony battery causing bodily harm.
