The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Parkland responded to various incidents between March 18 and March 24, 2025. Below is a detailed account of the incidents and arrests handled by local law enforcement.
Information Reports

03/18, 3:53 p.m. – A woman requested a known male be trespassed from her Parkland property. Deputies were unable to contact the subject.

03/18, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. – A resident reported someone added additional branches to a pile she had placed near her fence, fearing code enforcement might cite her.

03/19, 2 a.m. – A man was Baker Acted after exhibiting erratic behavior and self-inflicted injuries. He was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center for evaluation.

03/19, 11:31 a.m. – A Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School staff member experienced a medical emergency and was treated on-site.

03/19, 8 p.m. – A woman attempted to enter a Parkland home despite an injunction in place. Entry was denied as the injunction was incomplete.

03/20, 2:02 p.m. – A 2-year-old boy exited his home through an unlocked door. A neighbor found and returned him safely.

03/20, 4:32 p.m. – A 7-year-old autistic child ran away from home but was quickly located unharmed.

03/20, 10:05 p.m. – A tow truck driver repossessing a Jeep drove on the wrong side of the road. He was cited and trespassed.

03/20, 11:19 p.m. – Fire Rescue broke into a Parkland home to assist a 74-year-old woman who had fallen and couldn’t reach the door.

03/21, 2:30 p.m. – A Parkland resident reported a neighbor doing donuts in a cul-de-sac, creating a disturbance.

03/21, 9:12 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of alleged threats. An information report was completed.

03/21, 10:33 p.m. – Vehicles were reportedly blocking a sidewalk. Officers responded and took no enforcement action.

03/22, approx. 6:29 p.m. – A trespass incident turned into an information report after the subjects had already left.

03/22, 5 p.m. – A woman reported a patient had obtained her private phone number and left a voicemail. No threats were made.

03/22, 11:55 p.m. – Deputies responded to a medical call at a Parkland residence. A report was filed.

03/23, 4:38 p.m. – A firearm was found in Parkland. The owner later arrived and claimed it.

03/23, 7:25 p.m. – An employee at a Parkland business received a call about a vulgar sign on the property. A search found no such sign.

03/24, 6:50 p.m. – A baseball catcher was hit in the face with a foul ball and transported to the hospital.
Domestic Disturbances (Non-Criminal)

03/19, 9:30 a.m. – A woman reported her husband was verbally abusive and threatening to throw her belongings out.

01/05 (reported 03/20) – A woman reported a January incident in which her estranged husband followed her into a bathroom during an argument. She expressed concerns he may attempt to take their daughter to England.

03/23, approx. 8:42 a.m. – A woman claimed her father prevented her from leaving after an argument at his Parkland residence.

03/23, 11:18 a.m. – A verbal dispute occurred between a man and his son. No criminal activity was found; DCF declined to follow up.
Battery
-
03/20, 8:10 p.m. – Deputies responded to a domestic incident. A woman reported she was touched against her will. One arrest was made.

03/15 (reported 03/24) – A man, appearing intoxicated, became combative with first responders and punched a firefighter. He was transported to Broward Health Coral Springs.
Theft
-
Between 01/05 and 02/25 (reported 03/21) – A woman reported her engagement ring and pendant necklace, valued at $30,450, were missing. She suspects the cleaning company but has no proof.
Threats/Intimidation

03/22, 9:37 p.m. – A resident reported being harassed with antisemitic statements. An investigation is ongoing.
Arrests
-
03/20 – Scott Kevin Sturrup, 63, was arrested on charges of domestic battery.

03/24 – Robert Misevski, 52, was arrested on an active warrant for trespassing. Bond set at $50.
