The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Parkland responded to various incidents between April 15 and 21, 2025. Below is a detailed account of the incidents and arrests handled by local law enforcement.
April 15, 2025
A civil dispute over property line clearing between neighbors was reported at a residence in Parkland. No crime occurred.
Also on April 15, a business reported damage at a car wash after a vehicle’s windshield wiper was caught in the spinning brushes, causing damage to several vehicles.
In another case that day, a man reported that his daughter would not allow him to retrieve court-ordered belongings from a home.
Later that day, a man stated that his ex-wife violated a restraining order by contacting him through a third party. The restraining order was issued out of Washington state.
April 16, 2025
Contraband was discovered on school grounds and reported by a principal to deputies.
A mother and son were involved in a verbal domestic dispute after he failed to clean cobwebs from their patio.
April 17, 2025
A 2024 Cadillac Escalade was stolen from a driveway between 3:46 and 3:49 a.m. Security footage captured two unidentified suspects. The vehicle contained valuable items. Estimated loss: $5,300.
That same night, a resident reported the burglary of her vehicle. Items stolen included an iPad and her son’s key fob. The iPad was later recovered in Deerfield Beach. Estimated loss: $1,505.
In another domestic incident, a mother complained that her adult son was being disrespectful and had moved up his return flight due to the argument.
April 18, 2025
A woman documented her intent to file a restraining order with Coral Springs PD due to all parties involved residing in Parkland.
A woman reported being pushed by an unknown man during a community association meeting.
A woman was Baker Acted after displaying concerning behavior and was transported for evaluation.
A wallet containing credit and bank cards, as well as a driver’s license, was stolen from a counter at BJ’s. Security footage showed an unknown male suspect. Estimated loss: $25.
April 19, 2025
A man reported that his wallet was lost while working in Parkland and later found only the airtag tracker one mile away. Estimated loss: $30.
An attempted vehicle burglary occurred when two juveniles were seen pulling on a locked car door. Later that week, three juveniles rang the doorbell and ran from the same residence.
A domestic disturbance was reported involving a teenager sneaking out overnight and later being found smoking marijuana in the bathroom.
A woman reported a theft totaling $40,660. She suspects a former nanny living in the home stole items over a prolonged period.
Juveniles were reported fighting in front of a home, but deputies determined they were just play fighting.
A 13-year-old boy jumped from a spiral balcony after consuming marijuana and melatonin. He was Baker Acted and transported to Broward Health Coral Springs.
April 20, 2025
A man reported being pushed by a woman during a domestic altercation. The incident was captured in an audio recording and photos.
Also that day, a passerby reported a downed stop sign at University Drive and Hillsboro Boulevard. It appeared to have fallen due to broken brackets.
Arrests
April 17, 2025: Wesley A. Findley, 33, was arrested on a felony warrant.
April 20, 2025: Beth Ellen Bogart, 61, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
