The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Parkland responded to various incidents between May 5 and May 11, 2026.
Incidents
The following is a summary of criminal activity and police incidents reported by the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Parkland from May 5-11, 2026.
A threat assessment report was completed May 5 regarding a Riverglades Elementary student after a student concern form was submitted.
A threat assessment report was completed May 5 at Westglades Middle School involving a juvenile male student.
A second threat assessment involving a kindergarten student at Riverglades Elementary was completed May 6.
A Parkland man reported May 6 that his ex-boyfriend allegedly punched and elbowed him multiple times outside his residence after driving him home from Wilton Manors. The victim suffered lacerations, abrasions, black eyes and a bloody nose, according to BSO.
A resident reported May 6 that an unknown person startled her while she was in her garage asking if her son was home. An information report was completed.
A Parkland resident reported May 7 receiving threatening text messages from another parent regarding alleged bullying accusations involving their daughters’ school.
Deputies responded May 7 to a verbal domestic dispute between a mother and her juvenile sons. No violence or threats were reported.
A Parkland resident reported May 7 that someone destroyed his sprinkler system, causing approximately $400 in damage.
A Parkland mother reported May 7 that her son grabbed her shoulders during an argument after she took away his gaming equipment due to behavioral issues and poor grades. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center on a domestic violence battery charge.
Deputies responded May 7 to a verbal dispute between a separated married couple regarding visitation with their children. No crime was committed.
A husband and wife were involved in a verbal dispute May 8 over weed killer being sprayed near a vehicle in a driveway. No physical altercation occurred.
A Parkland man sleeping in a rooftop truck tent attached to his Dodge truck reported May 9 that several people attempted to open the vehicle’s driver-side door before fleeing in a white Audi SUV. Deputies were unable to locate the suspects.
Deputies responded May 9 to a verbal argument between two people in the parking lot of a Parkland supermarket. No physical altercation occurred.
Deputies and Mobile Crisis personnel responded May 9 to a mentally ill person call involving a Parkland man who had reportedly isolated himself in bed for about two weeks and eaten very little. Authorities determined he did not meet Baker Act criteria and provided mental health resources to the family.
Deputies responded May 10 to a verbal argument between a mother and her son regarding him being in her bedroom and refusing to leave. No physical violence was reported.
Arrests
Stephen Gage Williams, 31, was arrested May 6 on a charge of battery causing bodily harm related to a dating violence incident in Parkland.
