July 29, Parkland
A woman reported that an ex-partner accessed her interior Ring camera and sent her old photos of her and another man taken in April 2024. The images were sent over 15 months later from the suspect’s phone number. The Ring system does not store photos, only live footage.
Burglary to Conveyance
Between July 27–29, 6800 block of Parkland
A Ford F250 was burglarized while parked in a driveway. The vehicle was unlocked, and a black zippered pouch containing the owner’s manual, insurance, and registration was stolen. Estimated loss: $8.
July 31, Parkland
A man discovered his Sig Sauer 9mm handgun (valued at $400) missing from his vehicle. He had left the car unlocked overnight and again during unloading at work in Fort Lauderdale. He reported the theft after returning home. Estimated loss: $440.
Theft
July 29, Parkland
A woman discovered her wallet missing after returning to work from a gas station. She believes it was stolen from her purse while left unattended under her desk. About 25 employees had access to the area. Estimated loss: $40.
August 2, Parkland
A man accused his sister of stealing from his bedroom during a family dispute. The investigation is ongoing. Estimated loss: $200.
Property Damage
Between July 29–30, Equestrian Center, 8350 Ranch Rd
Unidentified individuals damaged the stone pebble floor near the women’s bathroom. The damage appears to have been caused by repeated tire spinning from a dirt bike or electric bicycle.
Fraud
July 31, Parkland
A woman hired a TaskRabbit worker to assist with packing. After a disagreement over payment, an unauthorized charge was made to her credit card. The bank was notified, and the card was canceled. Estimated loss: $142.

- July 29: A Parkland resident reported suspicious investment activity between January and April 2025.
- July 31: A juvenile reported a white Volvo SUV throwing water balloons at other cars near a Coral Springs roundabout. BSO was unable to locate the vehicle.
- August 3: A man received threatening calls from someone accusing him of being with their girlfriend. He suspects it was a prank by friends.
