The Parkland Little League Junior All-Star team completed their incredible summer, winning one game at the State Championship.
Parkland, which previously won the Section 8 Championship, beat St. Lucie 17-6 for its only win at States. The team is led by former professional baseball player Stephen Cardullo, who said he was deeply grateful to be able to coach an exceptional group of baseball players along with Robert Travinski and Steve Rosenberg.
“The players’ dedication and passion have been nothing short of inspiring, Cardullo said .” We all represented the great city of Parkland with integrity and class, embodying the values that make our community proud. I hope news of our efforts will promote and grow the league.”
Their team consisted of Tristyn Sugrim, Mason Coyne, RJ Travisnki, Cody Shamel, Mason Barkoe, Danny Ceballos, Tyler Hanes, Christian Azaret, Dylan Chalson, Colin Devaney, and Joaquin Chaparro.
