This year, there are ways for residents of all ages to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday.
The City of Parkland will host a Tribute to the late civil rights leader on Monday, January 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Pine Trails Park Amphitheater.
The special event will feature a ceremony including guest speakers, the history of black music in America, crafts, food trucks, and inspirational local performances to honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Face coverings are required.
The amphitheater at Pine Trails Park is located at 10555 Trails End, in Parkland.
