State Representative Christine Hunschofsky has partnered with the City of Parkland and the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) to host a Mobile Driver’s License Renewal event at the Parkland Amphitheater.
Held on Wednesday, August 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Mobile Driver’s License Renewal event is part of the FLHSMV’s Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW) program, which offers driver’s license and disabled parking placard issuance and renewal services to Florida residents. All services are conveniently located within a large bus on the event grounds.
The FLOW event will bring motorist services directly to the community, allowing residents to access various services without traveling to a DMV office.
Services that will be available at the event include changing from an out-of-state driver’s license to a Florida license, renewals, duplicates for lost or stolen licenses, address/name changes, ID cards, reinstatements, emergency contact information registration, vehicle registration renewal, and new/renewed accessible parking placards.
No written or driving tests will be given from the mobile unit. Appointments are limited to first-come, first-served.
Held at Pine Trails Park, Parkland Amphitheater at 10555 Trails End.
To attend the event, Florida residents must pre-register by contacting Representative Hunschofsky’s office either by email at HD095@myfloridahouse.gov or by phone at 954-953-2760 to schedule an appointment.
