Yoel Mizrahi {BSO}
A Parkland man was arrested and charged with domestic battery after allegedly assaulting his wife by shooting a snot rocket at her during a heated altercation.
According to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office incident report, the dispute unfolded when the suspect, Yoel Mizrahi, 67, of Parkland, became involved in a verbal dispute with his wife at their home.
The victim told deputies that as she attempted to calm the situation, Mizrahi allegedly responded by launching mucus from his nose in her direction, spitting on her, and grabbing her by the collar of her shirt before forcefully throwing her to the ground.
Records show the assault left visible red marks on the victim’s right arm and chest area.
After an on-scene investigation and speaking with both parties, BSO deputies determined Mizrahi should be arrested and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to the Broward County Main Jail and released after posting a $1,500 bond.
