Sold-Out Livello Brunch Raises Funds for Parkland 17 Memorial 4

Livello in Coral Springs welcomed a sold-out crowd for its Building Their Legacy Brunch, a fundraiser supporting the planned memorial to the 17 victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

The school’s Class of 1994 presented a $2,000 check for the memorial planned within a 150-acre preserve bordering Coral Springs and Parkland.

Livello owner and chef Bruno Silva led the four-course event. The program included personal tributes honoring the students and staff members killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14, 2018.

Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Florida not-for-profit corporation established to build the official public Memorial to the victims of the Parkland massacre.

Donations will help fund the official public Memorial to honor the 17 victims who were taken from their families and our community: Alyssa Alhadeff, Scott Beigel, Martin Duque Anguiano, Jr., Nicholas Dworet, Aaron Feis, Jaime Guttenberg, Chris Hixon, Luke Hoyer, Cara Loughran, Gina Montalto, Joaquin Oliver, Alaina Petty, Meadow Pollack, Helena Ramsay, Alex Schachter, Carmen Schentrup and Peter Wang.

Anyone can donate / to the Parkland 17 Memorial, which will be located on a 150-acre preserve that borders Coral Springs and Parkland, uniting the two affected communities.
