Congregation Temple Kol Tikvah is hosting an enlightening and moving service in observance of Tishah B’Av.
Held on Wednesday, July 26, at 7:30 p.m. The service, led by Cantor Debbie Haftez, will take place at the temple’s Oneg Room, 6750 University Drive, Parkland, Florida.
Tishah B’Av, falling on the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av, is one of the most solemn dates on the Jewish calendar. It is traditionally observed as a day of mourning, commemorating the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem, pivotal events in Jewish history that shaped the course of the Jewish diaspora.
Congregation Kol Tikvah welcomes all members of the Parkland community and beyond to join in this evening of solemn remembrance.
