The Marjory Stoneman Douglas wrestling teams were back in action this weekend, highlighted by a strong second-place finish from the girls’ team.
Ariana Blanc and Zeinab Mourad each captured first place at the Patriots Girls Round Robin. Samantha De Gance and Addison McMahon earned second-place finishes, while Lily Torres, Kaylee Barthel, and Olivia Yakich placed fourth. Sumayyah Umar rounded out the results with a sixth-place finish.
The boys’ team finished ninth overall at the Gillis Stong Invitational. Timothy Carroll and Keegan Lake each placed third, and Josh Lopez finished sixth. The team now turns its focus to the Bobby Stanley Duels on December 29–30.
