The Wolves, coached by former Westglades graduate Danny Gurr and Kathryn Cottrell, went 4-3 in the regular season, then advanced to the postseason and defeated Silver Lakes in the first round.

Westglades then defeated Sunrise Middle School a year after losing to them in the playoffs before falling in the semifinals.

“Coaching this group was an amazing experience,” said Coach Gurr. “We could not be more proud of this team and look forward to many of our players returning next season. We will miss our outgoing eighth graders tremendously.”
