Make Our Schools Safe Golf Classic {MOSS}
Golfers and community members will come together for a cause that hits close to home during the 5th Annual Make Our Schools Safe Golf Classic on Friday, Nov. 14, at the Country Club of Coral Springs.
Hosted by Make Our Schools Safe, the tournament raises funds to support safety initiatives in Broward County schools. Founded by Lori and Ilan Alhadeff in memory of their daughter Alyssa, who was one of the 17 victims of the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas tragedy, the organizationās mission is to create safer learning environments for students nationwide.
Participants can register as individual golfers or teams, with sponsorship opportunities available for businesses and community organizations. The event includes breakfast, an afternoon of golf, raffles, and awards, with all proceeds benefiting Make Our Schools Safe programs and student-led MOSS Clubs throughout South Florida.
The Country Club of Coral Springs, located at 10800 W. Sample Road, will host the tournament. Check-in begins in the morning, followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Sponsorship levels range from hole and contest sponsors to premier event partners, each offering recognition throughout the day. Non-golfers can also support the cause by donating or providing raffle and auction items.

Funds raised will help expand safety education, advocacy, and campus improvements in local schools, continuing the organizationās goal of empowering students and communities to take proactive steps in school safety.
