
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Girls Lacrosse. {Matt Rothman}
The Marjory Stoneman Douglas girls lacrosse team made a run to the Regionals, but ultimately fell short in the Semifinals following a loss to Vero Beach High School on Wednesday.
The Eagles, who were seeded second after falling in the District Final, won their first game of Regionals 14-7 against Miami Palmetto Senior High School, following a five-goal game from Chloe Resnik. Noa Capistrano scored three, while both Patricia Phang and Aubrey Kasen each had two. Morgan McCluskey and Mary Denvey also scored, with Marissa Gallagher making seven saves in net.
MSD then faced Vero Beach High School but scored only 3 goals in a 17-3 loss, finishing the season 12-6.
